Italian football club Napoli has turned down a €65 million bid from Turkish side Galatasaray for the permanent transfer of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.
Osimhen, who joined Galatasaray on loan last September, had a move to Chelsea fall through at the last minute, leading to his temporary switch to the Turkish club.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Napoli has set a higher price, demanding the full release clause of €75 million for the Super Eagles forward.
Galatasaray, keen to keep the 25-year-old striker, had hoped to negotiate a lower transfer fee, but Napoli has insisted on the full amount.
Furthermore, reports suggest that Galatasaray could still complete the deal at €75 million, with an additional €6 million compensation fee to other involved clubs.
