Actor Uti Nwachukwu has sparked a deep theological conversation in a recent video, questioning the gender of God and raising important points about the nature of creation.

In the video, Uti challenges the common assumption that God is male. Reflecting on the biblical idea that humans were created in God’s image, he poses a thought-provoking question: “If we were made in His image, where did the image of the woman come from?”

He continued, “I just love the fact that most people think God our creator is ‘male’, that God has a ‘gender’. God… He… So, let me ask you, if we were made in his image, where did the image of the woman come from?”

In his social media caption, Uti further explores his inquiry, referencing the Bible verse, “Let ‘US’ make man in Our image, according to Our likeness.” This passage, he suggests, could imply the presence of a feminine entity in the divine nature.

The actor also raises the possibility that God might be genderless, suggesting that labeling God as “He” may not fully capture the divine essence. He poses a bold question: “If you believe in the HOLY TRINITY, is it a far-fetched assumption to say the one has a feminine polarity?”

He cautions those who cannot engage with an unbiased, intellectual opinion to refrain from responding, calling for a serious exploration of the topic.
