A Grade I Area Court in Lugbe, Abuja, has officially dissolved the four-year marriage between Shuiba Abdullahi and his wife, Aisha Abdullahi, citing the wife’s alleged “bad character” as the reason for the divorce.

Shuiba, the petitioner, told the court that his wife constantly disrespected him, making it impossible for him to find peace in the marriage.

He stated that he had lost all interest in the union and sought its dissolution.

During the court proceedings, Aisha Abdullahi did not object to the divorce request, consenting to the separation.

After hearing both parties, the presiding judge, Aliyu Kagarko, ruled in favor of the divorce and declared the marriage dissolved.

He further ordered Shuiba to allow Aisha to pack her belongings from their home within 24 hours.

The petitioner also confirmed that the marriage did not produce any children.

With the court’s decision, both parties are now legally separated, bringing an end to their four-year union.
