The controversy surrounding singer Innocent ‘2Baba’ Idibia’s divorce from actress Annie Macaulay and his engagement to Natasha Osawaru has taken a new twist, as his mother, Rose Idibia, publicly appealed for her son’s release.

In a viral video, Mrs. Idibia expressed concern over 2Baba’s relationship with Natasha, claiming that the Edo State lawmaker had placed “beads” on his hands and neck, which she suggested were influencing his behavior.

Appealing directly to Natasha, Mrs. Idibia said her son was no longer in his right senses following his separation from Annie.

She pleaded with Nigerians, especially mothers, to intervene and urge Natasha to let him go.

“I   Know My Son. This Is Clearly Not Him. Please, Natasha, the Beads You Put on His Hand and His Neck, Remove Them.”
