President Bola Tinubu has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Mallam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai on the occasion of his 65th birthday.
In a statement released by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu described El-Rufai as an accomplished administrator, scholar, and politician whose contributions to governance and democracy remain significant.
El-Rufai, a founding member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is widely recognized for his resourcefulness and intellectual depth.
He served as Governor of Kaduna State for eight years and previously held key positions, including Director-General of the Bureau of Public Enterprises and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) from 2003 to 2007.
President Tinubu commended El-Rufai’s role in the formation of the APC and his contributions to the party’s electoral successes in 2015, 2019, and 2023.
He also praised the former governor’s dedication to public service and mentorship of young leaders.
Wishing him good health and strength, the President expressed confidence in El-Rufai’s continued commitment to national development.
