Popular Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has announced a shift in focus, stating that he is now more interested in making money than engaging in controversies.
The Zazu Zeh crooner made this declaration in a video shared on his Instagram page on Friday, just hours after being granted bail by an Ogun State Magistrate Court in Isabo, Abeokuta.
The court granted him bail in the sum of N2 million following his arraignment over an alleged assault case filed by the Ogun State Police Command.
Portable was arraigned for allegedly assaulting three officials of the Ogun Planning and Development Permit Authority (OGPDPA).
The incident reportedly occurred when the officials were carrying out their duties, leading to the police filing charges against the singer.
After securing bail, Portable took to social media to express gratitude for his release while emphasizing his determination to focus on financial success.
“My fans, thank God for everything. If you have God, you have everything. I need money. I am not looking for trouble anymore. I’m now focused on making money. I have N2 million bail debt. I need more money. I am looking for money,” he stated.
