Embattled Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has pleaded with Fuji icon Alhaji Pasuma Alabi to sponsor his pilgrimage to Mecca so he can pray to God.
In a recently surfaced chat, the controversial artist pleaded with Fuji music star Wasiu Alabi Pasuma to sponsor his trip, saying he wanted to “go and thank God.”
Portable Seeks Spiritual Journey Amid Legal Troubles
Portable, who has been in the spotlight due to his ongoing legal battle with the Ogun State government, appears to be seeking spiritual guidance.
In a private chat that has now gone viral, the Zazu crooner reached out to Pasuma, explaining his wish to visit Mecca.
“Oga mi, pls carry me go Mecca. I want go thank God
Pasuma, a respected figure in the Fuji music industry, responded to Portable’s message, offering prayers and asking how he could assist.
Portable then boldly requested that the Fuji legend take him to Mecca.
The conversation has since gone viral, with fans and social media users sharing their thoughts. While some commended Portable for seeking a religious path despite his troubles, others questioned his sudden spiritual interest.
A fan wrote:
“Portable wants to go to Mecca? That’s unexpected, but everyone deserves a chance to seek God.”
Another user commented:
“He just got out of jail, and now he wants to go to Mecca? Portable never stops surprising us!”
Pasuma’s Response Unclear
Although Pasuma responded to Portable’s message, it remains uncertain whether he will fulfill the singer’s request.
