Chelsea legend John Terry has revealed the five Premier League strikers he considers the toughest he ever faced. The former Blues captain shared his list in a recent TikTok video.
Regarded as one of the Premier League’s finest defenders, Terry admitted some forwards made him nervous even before stepping onto the pitch.
He named Thierry Henry, Wayne Rooney, Sergio Aguero, Alan Shearer, and Harry Kane as the hardest opponents of his career.
On Henry, Terry said:
“Number one has to be Thierry Henry for me. The one player I got nervous about the night before the game.”
Wayne Rooney came in at a close second:
“A very close second would be Wayne Rooney.”
Terry described Aguero, who ranks third, as deceptively strong:
“Again, for someone who is really small, he was so strong and also wanted the fight.”
Rounding out the top five were Alan Shearer in fourth and Harry Kane in fifth
